following the overwhelming success of the NODA award winning Beltin' Out Broadway in 2009, we are proud to present the next chapter - Beltin' Out Broadway 2: The Revenge!
Featuring all your favourite songs from Grease, Annie, Guys & Dolls, Anything Goes, Seven Brides For Seven Brothers, Love Never Dies, Sweeney Todd, Jesus Christ Superstar, and many more. Performances will be at Darwen Library Theatre on the 25th, 26th, and 27th of November, doors open at 19:00 - curtain at 19:30 sharp. Another previous production was Soul Kings and Heart strings which was performed in June 2008 at Darwen library Theatre. It was a huge sucess and many thanks to all our loyal fans.
The show was written and directed by Angela Phillips and is set in a Darwen pub, could even be your local!
Loosely based on Shakespear's "Much ado about nothing" it is centered around the Kings Head football team, locals and staff. There will be lots of mischief, mistaken identities, mirth and mayhem, all liberally peppered with, as the title suggests, loads of soul classics.
